Big Powderhorn Lodging is located at the base of Big Powderhorn Mountain, just two miles north of highway 2, on Powderhorn Road. Travelers from the Wisconsin usually travel north on highway 51, to Hurley WI. then onto highway 2, east into Michigan (Ironwood MI) Powderhorn Road is five mile east of Ironwood.
Visitors traveling from Minnesota make their way to Wisconsin's highway 2, and follow that east to Hurley WI/ Ironwood Mi. then on to Powderhorn Road.
Visitors from the east, make their way to Michigan's Highway 2 and follow it west to Wakefield MI, then continue on two through Bessemer Mi. staying on Highway 2 through Bessemer, Powderhorn Road is locate just 1 1/2 mile west of Bessemer.
Look for the very large statue of a skier which marks the entrance to Powderhorn Road.
